Tysk forbundsgæld udstedes af Finanzagentur som Schatz (omkring to år), Bobl (omkring fem), Bund (ti og tredive) og inflationsindekserede linjer. Den 10-årige bund er euroområdets risikofri reference; andre eurostater handles som et spread til den.
Negative bundrenter forekom i 2010’erne. Kupon er ikke rente: en bund købt til 140 kan stadig være ”sikker” kredit og et dårligt hold-til-udløb-afkast.
