Financial World News -toimitus · Koulutuksellinen selitys · Miten haemme korot
UK and some euro issuers go beyond 30 years; the US long bond is 30. Ultra-longs are duration machines.

Government Bonds With the Longest Maturities — the mechanics
The UK’s 2060s gilts are famous in LDI. Italy and France also have very long lines. Longer is not better; it is more sensitivity. Use them to match a far liability, not to chase a headline yield.
UK 2060s-style gilts, some 50-year euro lines when they exist, US 30-year as the standard long bond. Longer means more duration, not more honour.
Ultra-longs exist to match ultra-long liabilities (pensions, infrastructure). Using them for ‘more yield’ is how 2022 happened to people who thought they owned cash.
Check the current calendar; 100-year bonds have been issued by some states at times and are not a standing US product.
Official sources (Comparisons)
Primary statistics and prospectuses for Comparisons are published by the issuer, not by this newsroom. The labelled links at the end of this page go to those official sites (DMO, TreasuryDirect, Finanzagentur, MEF, AFT, SNB or ECB as relevant).
Our live board is a teaching overlay: dated prints, named sources, estimated ISIN lines. It is not a replacement for the issuer’s calendar.
