BTP Valore is a retail-focused fixed-rate (or step-up) BTP with possible loyalty coupons for holders to maturity.

BTP Valore Explained — the mechanics
The MEF has used Valore to deepen household ownership of public debt. Step-up coupons and a final extra coupon change the cash-flow shape versus a plain BTP. Compare yield to a standard BTP of similar maturity, including the bonus only if you will hold.
BTP Valore is a retail coupon bond, not a linker. Step-up coupons and a loyalty premium (if held from the issue window to maturity) are marketing and contract features, not a different credit ranking.
If you buy Valore on MOT a year later, read whether any bonus still applies. Often it does not. Then it is ‘just’ a BTP with its coupon schedule.
Compare Valore YTM with an ordinary BTP of similar maturity on the same day. A loyalty story is not a yield.
